| Since 2017, Knight has partnered with Gallup on a major research series to understand American perceptions of the media in our democracy. As part of Knight’s ongoing Trust, Media and Democracy initiative, this series sought to inform solutions to address the problems of misinformation and declining trust in media. The podcast, hosted by Gallup’s principal economist Jonathan Rothwell, uses findings from this research to help guide in-depth conversations with leading scholars on restoring a more civil and trustworthy media environment. The first episode, released today, features my colleague Sam Gill, Knight Foundation’s vice president for communities and impact. |
