On 13 November 2017, the World Bank Group – UN Environment Roadmap for a Sustainable Financial System report will be launched in Bonn, Germany at the Fiji Pavilion. The report proposes an integrated approach for both public and private financial sector stakeholders to accelerate the transformation towards a sustainable financial system. It looks towards the interaction of three types of initiatives – market-based, national and international – and draws on the activities and experience of both the World Bank Group and UN Environment to illustrate these.

The global launch will be moderated by Simon Zadek, Co-Director UN Environment Inquiry, and Senior Advisor on Finance to the UN Deputy Secretary-General, Executive Office of the Secretary-General. He will be joined by H.E. Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, Minister of Finance and Attorney-General, Fiji; Erik Solheim, UN Under Secretary-General and Executive Director, UN Environment; and Hartwig Schafer, Vice President, Global Themes, The World Bank.
