The UN Environment Inquiry is partnering with the Singapore Management University (SMU) and the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) to host the event “Singapore, Green Finance and the Collaborative Challenge”. It will offer insights on the nexus between sustainable finance and collaborative action and feature a summary of the core findings of the second edition of the Inquiry’s global report, “The Financial System We Need: Momentum to Transformation”.

Professor Ann Florini (Academic Director, Master of Tri-Sector Collaboration. Professor of Public Policy, School of Social Sciences, SMU) will moderate a panel discussion with Mr Simon Zadek (Co-Director, UNEP Inquiry into the Design of a Sustainable Financial System and Visiting Professor DSM Senior Fellow in Partnership and Sustainability, SMU), Mr Pedro Páez (Minister for Economic Policy Coordination of Ecuador and Coordinator of the Southern Bank), Mr Mohammed Omran (Executive Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange, Chairman of the Federation Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) and Professor of Finance at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology) and Mr Piyush Gupta (CEO, DBS Bank).

The event will take place on 10 January 2017 from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm at the SMU Administration Building, Mochtar Riady Auditorium (81 Victoria Street, Singapore 188065) and is open for registration here.
