Call to academic institutions to get involved

The IIRC is issuing an invitation to tender to academic institutions to help facilitate collaboration and exchange among academics on matters relating to integrated reporting.

The <IR> Academic Network provides a space for connecting theory and practice by bridging academia to those who directly prepare and benefit from integrated reports. The IIRC is looking for partners to help harness the support and enthusiasm of the participants in this network.

IIRC reacts to High Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance call for greater integration

The IIRC has welcomed the call from the High-Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance for European action towards greater integration in corporate reporting.

The Group, which has released its final report, has called on the European Commission to “place greater emphasis on the need to integrate non-financial information” in the EU Directive on non-financial reporting.

The final report states, “The ultimate ambition has to be convergence or integration of financial and non-financial or sustainability information… Integrated reporting supports this convergence qualitatively through reporting that links sustainability factors with company strategy.”
