COLCHESTER, Vt.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Vermont Governor Jim Douglas honored Green Mountain Power (NYSE:GMP) with the state’s highest environmental award for its work in environmental reporting and in treating petroleum contaminated soil naturally at its land farm in Berlin. The award was presented to Mary Powell, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Green Mountain Power, at a ceremony at the Statehouse.
