Free policy advisory services for an inclusive green economy

 A number of advisory services are available free of charge to policy makers, policy advisors, and supporting institutes to support the transition to an inclusive green economy.  These services offer specialised support on key green economy approaches, including green energy transformation, climate change mitigation, implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and green growth. Experts are available to analyse policy and technology options, draft or review policy and planning documents, share best practices from other countries, and advise on how to mobilise finance or identify funding opportunities.  The GGKP and the IKI project “Green Economy Transformation”  introducing  a selection of these services, including how they can be accessed an utilised. In most cases, prospective users can contact the service directly through an online application form with a clearly defined policy need. The service will then connect the user with a certified expert that will work hand in hand with the user to develop a viable solution. Audience members will be invited to submit real-world policy questions during an interactive discussion period, for example around issues related to confidentiality and evolving needs.
