From the World Future Society

“The future is very much like history.  It simply means we’re looking forward to create knowledge about our future and use it to effectively plan and design a better future for every aspect of life.”

Ufuk Tarhan, WFS member & one of the top female futurists in the world

As I write this, we’re getting ready to welcome over a hundred incredibly smart, curious, talented, and passionate humans from around the world to Chicago for two days of deep exploration and big thinking at WorldFuture: 2018. We’re going to get a little weird, we’re going to get personal, and we’re going to push the boundaries of what’s possible as we explore human purpose and potential—without limits. I can’t wait. ??

Every time I have an opportunity to connect with our members at events like this, it reinforces every aspect of what we do at the World Future Society—including our deepened focus over the last several months on facilitating one-on-one authentic connections between members inside our thriving online community.

If you missed getting to attend in Chicago this week, there are still so many incredible opportunities for you experience these kind of connections and open yourself up to the mind-expanding conversations and impact that are possible when we come together. And it’s all happening right here.

Join the Conversation in the WFS Community

This week and next in the World Future Society, we’ll bring everyone in our community along for the ride, so tune in here to participate in conversations, brainstorms, and stories coming out of our event.

And if I won’t be seeing you in person this week in Chicago, I look forward to seeing you soon inside our community.

To the future! ?
