Launching the climate risk and TCFD event series

CDSB is organising a series of capacity-building workshops and webinars which will equip companies with the capability to bring about rapid, high-quality implementation of the recommendations, and investors with the knowledge to influence uptake.

From now to early next year, you can expect to receive invites to a number of events which will explore some of the key themes addressed in the TCFD recommendations reports, including determining and defining materiality, and assessing director’s duties around climate risk.

These are the first two webinars of the series – we recommend you to keep an eye on our events page or our Twitter account for more updates.

Get in touch with us at [email protected] if you are interested in speaking or co-hosting one of these events.

TCFD implementation and carbon pricing

This joint webinar will focus on two key initiatives of the We Mean Business Take Action campaign which help to build climate-competent companies. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions about the details of setting an internal price on carbon and delivering on the TCFD recommendations in the next three years.

Commit to disclose climate-related financial risks

CDSB and We Mean Business are encouraging more companies to commit to implement the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures’ (TCFD). This commitment will showcase forward-thinking businesses looking to report the financial risks and opportunities that climate change creates in order to align their disclosures with investors’ needs.
