The ECI Secretariat wishes you a very happy new year and looks forward to another year of working with you to make the world more just, peaceful, and sustainable. The first edition of the EC Newsflash in 2013 shares information about ECI’s new direction, education opportunities, and EC news from around the world. To kick off the year with some inspirational words, here’s a brief passage from the EC preamble:
“…we must decide to live with a sense of universal responsibility, identifying ourselves with the whole Earth community as well as our local communities. We are at once citizens of different nations and of one world in which the local and the global are linked. Everyone shares responsibility for the present and future well-being of the human family and the larger living world.”
