Get ready world, here we come. American climate leaders will be in Bonn for next month’s UN climate talks, ensuring international leaders and negotiators know We Are Still In.
Yesterday, signatories to We Are Still In unveiled plans for a U.S. Climate Action Center at COP23, a city-block-sized hub for showcasing examples of American climate leadership. On a call with reporters, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee, St. Gabriel, Louisiana Mayor Lionel Johnson, Mark Mitsui President of Portland Community College, and Mars Incorporated Global Sustainability Director Kevin Rabinovitch, talked about the center and highlighted the large delegation of climate leaders representing state governors, mayors, campuses, and businesses traveling to COP23.
