Convergence XI:
Church as an Economic Being
March 19 – 21, 2012
Simsbury, CT

Where is an imagination to shift the rules of markets and the economy part of the mission of the church?

Where can we as individuals and communities engage and shape, today, the practices of a new economy?

ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

At the Convergence we held last May, we explored questions like those above…and we couldn’t be more excited to invite you to imagine with us this March. Join us at the upcoming Convergence and be a part of shaping the next set of questions.

COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE: CONVERGENCE AND BEYOND

If you see this work as part of your broader mission in the new year, consider becoming a Cohort @ Convergence. Cohorts, teams from congregations, organizations, or communities, will build upon the ideas generated at Convergence through the year, implementing in their local communities and contributing leadership for the Church as an Economic Being movement. Cohorts will benefit from sustained engagement and support from Criterion and Church as an Economic Being throughout the year, as we all set goals together, check in regularly on progress, identify big picture patterns and contextualize local implementation, and focus on how we can bring important connections and exposure to your efforts.
