The American Monetary Institute (AMI )was a big hit at the big Democracy Convention in Minneapolis last weekend. We enjoyed meeting all of the great people there, and monetary reform was certainly put “on the radar.”
AMI had a team of 14 staunch members making sure that as many people as possible were well-informed about the need for monetary reform – and we had great parties in the evenings, which also attracted people’s attention!
Many people signed-up there and then to keep in touch with AMI (over 75% women – more power to us!).
Now more and more people know that the next time they hear someone say “how can we pay for it?” they can send them this (the NEED Act). We’ll be discussing how the NEED Act fits in with all the other good reforms we need at our upcoming Monetary Reform Conference in Chicago, September 14-17 (details here).
So let’s keep the momentum for monetary reform and the societal transformation it will lead to going!
