ASBC Small Business Owners Meet with President Obama Today to Discuss Tax Policies

WASHINGTON, DC – President Barack Obama will meet with 15 small business owners to discuss the impact of tax policies today, Tuesday, November 27, 2012. ASBC and business members and supporters, Mandy Cabot, CEO and co-founder of Dansko Inc., Lew Prince, Partner of Vintage Vinyl, Nikhil Arora Co-Founder of Back to the Roots, and David Bolotsky, CEO of Uncommon Goods will participate in the White House meeting to share their views with the President.

They are members of ASBC partner organizations like Business for Shared Prosperity, Social Venture Network, and B Lab among others. This represents not only a huge step for small businesses, but also a huge step forward in the long road ahead of tax reform. ASBC looks forward to the new possibilities this meeting will create.

These are a few of the more than 600 business owners and executives who signed a letter sent by the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC) and Business for Shared Prosperity (BSP) calling on Congress to end costly Bush tax cuts for the top 2 percent and reinvest in America.  Check back on our website more information surrounding today’s events.
