Are you joining us in Bonn?

The Sustainable Innovation Forum is fast approaching. In the interest of time I wanted to summarise the event for you and find out if you were planning on coming.

To remind you, the event is the meeting place for national and regional government representatives eager to meet the Paris Agreement Commitments and private sector providers of innovative solutions such as clean energy, low-carbon transport, sustainable cities, and more, to make a sustainable future a reality.

Over 280 attendees are already confirmed. These include:

• Ministry of Climate & Environment, Norway, Minister
• Oslo, Governing Mayor
• Toyota, Chairman
• California Energy Commission, Commissioner
• Minister for Economy, Public Enterprises, Civil Service and Communications, Fiji, Fijian Attorney-General
• Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate, Denmark
• Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership, Executive Director
• Board of Management Member for Purchasing and Supplier Network, BMW Group

Ministers of Environment, Energy, Climate Change, CEOs, Mayors, Responsible Investors and more are attending the Forum for two days of deal making that will catalyse the green economy.

If driving a green economy is (or will soon be) on your agenda I encourage you to book your place. Take action now to take a step towards a sustainable future.

You can register your place or view the latest agenda.

My highlight of the agenda is the Accelerating the Energy Transition panel discussion, looking at ways to fast track and scale up renewable power panel session. Leading the discussion is Fortum Corporation, First Minister of Scotland, Orsted, Minister of Climate & Environment, Norway and Siemens AG.

If you want to be privy to climate change policy and action I urge you to book your place and accommodation soon. The event runs alongside COP23 so most of the movers and influencers of the Sustainable Community will be in Bonn and accommodation is limited.
