A new report written by the Worldwatch Institute for the Heinrich Böll Foundation examines ways in which the current economic downturn is an opportunity to fight climate change while creating quality jobs. Following the report’s German launch in Berlin last month, the English version of “Towards a Transatlantic Green New Deal: Tackling the Climate and Economic Crises” was discussed at an event in Washington, D.C., this week.
